Clark adds lithium-ion models to pallet truck line-up
Clark has unveiled a new generation of electric pallet trucks aimed at improving efficiency in warehouses, production sites and retail operations.
The five new low-lift pallet truck models were introduced at LogiMAT 2026 in Duisburg.
The range includes the ELP15, BPT15, WLE20, WEP20 and RPE20, covering load capacities of 1,500kg and 2,000kg.
Clark said the models were designed for a wide range of internal material handling tasks, from short transport distances in confined retail spaces to more demanding warehouse logistics.
The trucks include walk-behind and ride-on variants.
The company said the new range combines compact design, high manoeuvrability, ergonomic operation and modern drive technology.
Four of the five models use maintenance-free lithium-ion batteries, allowing flexible mid-shift charging.
Clark said this removes the need for traditional battery maintenance such as topping up water.
All models come with electric drive and lift systems as standard.
The company said the trucks also offer precise tiller control, safe handling and low maintenance requirements.
The ELP15 is a 1,500kg walk-behind model designed for daily goods handling over short distances.
With a width of 550mm and a turning radius of 1,345mm, it is aimed at tight spaces in warehouses, retail areas, production sites and lorry loading areas.
It has a maintenance-free lithium-ion battery that can be charged from a standard 230V socket.
The BPT15, also with a 1,500kg capacity, is aimed at users looking for a cost-effective option for light-duty warehouse, retail and industrial tasks.
It uses a GEL block battery and has a low vehicle weight of 205kg.
Clark said the model was suited to narrow aisles and lorry use, with a higher-positioned drive motor designed to protect the vehicle from dirt and moisture.
The WLE20 has a 2,000kg load capacity and is designed for heavier walk-behind applications in production and warehouse logistics.
The model includes a lithium-ion battery, two lift cylinders and a low fork height of 78mm to help with low pallets.
Clark said side support rollers, adjustable suspension and adjustable push rods help reduce wear and maintenance costs.
The WEP20 is a 2,000kg premium walk-behind model with a 24V, 230Ah lithium-ion battery.
Its wider forks and heavy-duty construction are designed for large and heavy loads in production and warehouse environments.
Operator comfort features include an integrated colour display, two cup holders, a storage compartment and a USB charging port.
The model can also be fitted with options including a load guard, rubber drive roller, climbing rollers and document holder.
The RPE20 is the ride-on model in the range and is designed for medium and long-distance transport.
It has a fold-down driver’s platform, allowing operators to switch between pedestrian and ride-on operation.
A 3.0kW drive motor allows travel speeds of up to 10km/h when unladen and 9.5km/h when laden.
Power steering, a suspension platform, automatic cornering speed reduction and a suspended drive frame are designed to improve safety and comfort.
The model also features a 24V, 230Ah lithium-ion battery and a 100A fast charger for high availability in multi-shift operations.
Clark said all models can be individually configured with optional equipment such as PIN code activation, load guards, warning lights and different fork dimensions.
The company said easily accessible components, tidy cable management and adjustable wear parts would help reduce maintenance and operating costs.
Thomas Bach, director of research and development at Clark, said: “With the new low-lift pallet trucks, we offer our customers exactly the flexibility they need in modern intralogistics – from simple, cost-effective solutions to highly comfortable ride-on models for longer distances.”
He said “Li-ion technology, ergonomic design and maximum manoeuvrability” made the vehicles all-rounders for everyday warehouse operations.
