Clandestine Software's new online stock management system has allowed Anchor Storage to absorb an unprecedented 90% increase in internet orders for goods since the start of 2008.
The new system ReportIT, which supports their Warehouse Management System LocateIT,
allows Anchors customers to view their stock levels online 24/7.
The sudden surge in online orders may have taken Anchor by surprise but their foresight in
adding ReportIT to their existing stock management system is already paying dividends.
As Anchor's MD Stephen Britt explains, "We have a robust ordering system in place to
manage large influxes of orders and have despatched everything on time. We are now
moving more and more into internet order fulfilment, offering the full logistics package including pick and pack".
ReportIT was introduced as an add-on to Clandestine's standard WMS at the end of last year
and 20% of the company's customers are already using the module.
Clandestine Software was formed in 1989 and have more than 200 clients including
Mitsubishi Air Conditioners Europe, D J M Logistics, Clydeport Operations, John G Russell
