CeMAT 2008, the world's leading intralogistics fair, was a huge success for Sovex Systems. The Prenton based conveyor manufacturer exhibited its new mobile Van Loader to attract stand visitors. By the end of the five-day exhibition in Hanover, Germany, Sovex had secured several orders and generated nearly 200 sales leads.
Ben Kendrick, Sales & Marketing Manager at Sovex, is delighted; "We are keen to increase our presence abroad and CeMAT has a strong international makeup of visitors. We forged contacts with other companies and met many potential customers. People were lining up to see our new mobile Van Loader. We even sold the model on display at the stand - a huge achievement for us!"
The mobile Van Loader features a powered, flexible roller conveyor mounted on an inclined belt conveyor. Easily manoeuvrable to suit multi-door applications, it provides a safe, convenient means of loading and unloading vehicles without the need for a loading bay. It was of great interest to CeMAT visitors and Sovex's competitors!
In addition to the mobile Van Loader, sales engineers from Sovex were on the stand to handle enquiries and brief visitors on the company's other products, including telescopic boom conveyors and automated storage systems. Brochures covering Sovex's maintenance, rental and refurbishment services were also available.
Ben continued; "So far, 2008 has been an excellent year for our company. Business is booming and we are expanding our sales team to meet increasing customer demands. CeMAT 2008 was a very special event for us. Over 60,000 visitors attended and we were amazed at the amount of visitor traffic the Sovex stand received. We will certainly be back for the next CeMAT in 2011!"
