Burnt Tree, the UK's largest independent commercial vehicle rental and contract hire company, has announced the opening of its latest new branch, with the most recently opened rental facility in Southampton becoming the company's 21st branch in England, Scotland and Wales.
Based on a 1 acre site on Millbank Street in Southampton, this Burnt Tree branch is one of the largest of the company's 21 locations nationwide and the company has ambitious plans for the branch by developing a strong vehicle rental presence across the Solent region in the very near future.
According to the newly appointed Burnt Tree Southampton Branch General Manager Barry Dean, "On our opening day, we had over 50 assorted vehicles available for rental from the branch and it is our plan to expand the business to such a level that we are looking to operate over 500 vehicles from here within the next couple of years."
At its new Southampton branch, Burnt Tree has a full range of vehicles for rental, ranging from cars and light vans right through to accessible buses, rigid trucks and artics, as well as some of the latest state-of-the-art refrigerated trucks from the company's national Refrigerental truck rental fleet.
The 1 acre site has a two-storey office block, full workshop facilities as well as substantial on-site parking and as Barry Dean says, "The opening of the branch in Southampton is part of Burnt Tree's progressive expansion of its network in the south of England, following on from branch openings in London Heathrow, Peterborough, Milton Keynes and East London.
