Buffaload Logistics grows again as Davis Haulage comes on board

Buffaload Logistics, the independent high-volume temperature controlled operator, has further strengthened its leading position in the UK distribution and storage sector with the acquisition of Crewe-based chilled and ambient logistics specialist, Davis Haulage.

On December 23rd Buffaload concluded negotiations to secure the ongoing business, employee contracts and assets of Davis Haulage in what Managing Director Julie Feltwell describes as a strategic acquisition and ‘natural fit’ with Buffaload Logistics.

“We are truly delighted to announce this important development in our growth plan. Buffaload has worked closely with Davis Haulage for the last two years and their reputation for high quality service fits well with our own ‘customer-first’ ethos.”

With immediate effect, Davis Haulage will be integrated into Buffaload’ s national storage and distribution network and according to Julie Feltwell, it will be ‘business as usual’ for both organisations.
