Kale Logistics announced today that Azmar Air – Iraq went live on its Airport Cargo Management Software-GALAXY. The system meets all global standards/ requirements on e-freight to support the business of an Airport Terminal operator / cargo ground handler. GALAXY is being used by leading Airport cargo Handlers worldwide like – Bahrain Airport Services, Mumbai International Airport and all leading International airports in India, Lusaka Airport- and Ndola Airport at Zambia amongst others.
Azmar Air at Sulaymaniyah Airport- Iraq currently manages entire gamut of operations related to handling of cargo, passengers, terminal, and recruitment of GSAs for airlines amongst other activities. Azmar has plans to expand its services to serve different airports both Domestic & International and hence they were clear about adopting a comprehensive IT system to automate their Airport Cargo Ground Handling Processes.
Azmar Air did a thorough evaluation of all the available IT systems currently in use at major Airports before they zeroed in on Kale’s GALAXY solution. They required a system which would enable them to handle the cargo in compliance with local regulations and global messaging standards. Azmar wanted to opt in for an IT solution that would help them to handle all Airport terminal requirements like- e-freight compliance, warehouse management, vehicle management, ability to offer real-time updates to their trade partners and carry out EDI messaging amongst others.
