Awards for Environmental Excellence Call for Project Entries

Awards will recognise those driving sustainability agenda

The UK's premier environmental awards scheme is looking for projects that stand out from the crowd and push forward the sustainability envelope.

Edie.net's Awards for Environmental Excellence celebrate innovation and best practice and recognise the expertise behind significant environmental achievements across business and government.

It is one of just a select few RSA accredited environmental awards schemes that produces the UK national entries that go forward to the European Business Awards for the Environment.

Unlike more specialised schemes, the awards recognise projects from a wide array of disciplines - previous winners range from corporate giants like Mitsubishi and Siemens to one-man bands that are doing something that could set the environmental agenda in their sphere.

Awards up for grabs include:

Carbon Reduction

Green Corporate Initiative

Green Local Authority Initiative

Green Retail Initiative

Renewable Energy

Sustainable Construction

Sustainable Transport

Waste & Recycling

Water & Wastewater

The deadline for entries Wednesday, May 26 and full details can be found at www.edie.net/awards

The awards are judged by an impartial expert panel including:
