ASG Services, the UK's leading provider of warehouse identification and floor marking systems, have achieved certification against the ISO 9001:2000 Standard.
Eighteen months ago the company began formalising processes within a Quality Management System to clearly define the way the company carried out its manufacturing activities, through to administrative organisation. The plan was to have clear guidelines for every operation in the company so customer satisfaction was maintained and service levels could be improved.
The 9001:2000 Standard works as a seal of approval; it recognises a company as being capable of providing consistent levels of quality and service, which meet customer needs and requirements. Achieving the Standard accomplishes two dynamics, initially it proves ASG Services performs to high expectations, and secondly it helps in developing the company through all aspects.
It was reported by the external ISO Assessor that "There is a very positive commitment to quality from the Managing Director"
Tony Gresty, Managing Director of ASG Services said "ASG is a company built on quality services so our staff must be carefully selected at interview. The induction process is structured to identify how a new member of staff will interact with ISO monitored processes, while giving an introduction on how ASG works toward the Standard. We find it gives the best view of how ASG Services operates."
ASG Services have worked hard to gain ISO 9001:2000 certification. Their commitment to customer satisfaction sets them aside from the competition and their effort to prove this has resulted in a timely reward. Each member of staff has been responsible for gaining the certificate, "their hard work is testament to the mentality of the company" said Tony Gresty.
These are exciting times for ASG Services, continued growth, development and use of the ISO certified Quality Management System will help ASG Services develop and move forward.
