Alpha Lifting Services is now streets ahead of the competition thanks to help from Verlinde France

Devon's Alpha Lifting Services is now streets ahead of the competition - thanks to a little help from VERLINDE FRANCE. As an approved supplier of Verlinde lifting equipment, Alpha is a one stop shop for the finest lifting equipment, so when Brecknell Willis needed five cranes, fast, Alpha rose to the challenge and supplied the five cranes in double quick time!

Alpha Lifting Services was started back in 1990 by current managing director Raymond Marks and from its manufacturing base in Devon has grown to supply a comprehensive range of everything from overhead travelling cranes and swing jib cranes, all the way through to monorail systems and gantries. With offices in Bristol, they were the natural choice for Somerset based Brecknell Willis to choose when needing a fast uplift!

When working as a one stop shop for your customers, it is vital that the cranes you supply will do the job first time and enjoy all the necessary compliances, which made Verlinde cranes an obvious selection for such an important order, being renowned globally for their safety, reliability and all round performance.

Commenting on Alpha's latest successful project, business development manager for Verlinde, Simon Rothechild, said: "Alpha Lifting Services are a great British company and it is super to see them continuing their success with clients of international standing like Brecknell Willis. Verlinde is delighted to have played its part in this significant contract win and we wish Ray and his team all the best on future projects."

Alpha Lifting Services was started with a vision of quality products, backed by quality service and quality customer care, which tells you all you need to know about the company itself and their decision recommend Verlinde products, as Managing Director Ray Marks explained:

"When Brecknell Willis requested five cranes on the double, we recommended Verlinde products as the best solution," explained Ray. "We put the job together and had all five cranes unloaded, assembled and fitted for the client in less than two days. To have such a swift turnaround with no loss in quality naturally impresses clients and all told, it was a job well done. Alpha has always enjoyed a close working relationship with Verlinde and we continue to supply their products to a variety of clients throughout the south of England."

This latest work with Alpha demonstrates that Verlinde continues to be a popular choice for lifting services in Britain and that the UK remains an important market sector in the steady advance in Verlinde's global operations. As the Verlinde name receives greater exposure on the global stage, it helps those companies in the UK who work with Verlinde products on a daily basis, who are looking to supply clients with global businesses and reputations to consider.

"Brecknell Willis is another brand with an international reputation like our own, so it is nice to see them choosing a great company like Alpha to supply them with the latest Verlinde cranes," said Thomas Descamps, managing director of Verlinde. "Many of our products boast fast assembly, but five in two days is an impressive achievement and says a lot about the expertise of Alpha's staff as well as our cranes."

Alpha supplied Brecknell Willis with 5 Verlinde crane kits. Brecknell Willis enjoys an international reputation dating back to the 1850s and won the first major contract for the Bristol 'Tramway' back in 1894. Today the company has an international reputation for its expertise in railway electrification; with offices in Somerset, Taiwan and China.
