AKW Global Logistics has revealed its new logo, symbolising the merger of two of Trafford Park’s most successful logistics firms.
AK Worthington Ltd and Global Logistics (UK) Ltd (including GL Central Ltd) joined forces in December as AKW Global Logistics Ltd.
Over 30 of the company’s articulated units are now in the new AKW Global Logistics livery with more to follow in the coming weeks.
The logo, which retains AKW group’s traditional red with a new contemporary typography, also appears on signage recently installed at the newly acquired 12 acre Alba Way site on Trafford Park where the combined businesses are now operating from.
Carl Murray, Commercial Director of AKW Global Logistics, said: “We are delighted with the new logo, the design is very bold and strong, reflecting the merged businesses and creating a single identity going forward.
“We have received some great feedback from those who have already spotted our new livery out on the roads and I’m sure it won’t be long before people begin to recognise it as a symbol for quality.”
AKW Global Logistics offers a broad range of logistics services including UK & International transport, warehousing and contract packing services to a large client base and the new group will have a turnover of ÂŁ33m and employ 400 staff.
