To mark the launch of the Advanced Instrumentation Group, (part of the new Electronics, Sensors, Photonics KTN which merges the former Sensors & Instrumentation KTN with the Photonics & Plastics Electronics and the Electronics KTN), 'Innovation in Instrumentation' is an event examining the issues relating to taking a laboratory based instrument and bringing it up to full field deployment.
The workshop objective is to explore instrumentation-related themes across the different sectors represented within the community, to identify common, cross-cutting requirements and potential solutions.
Objectives
The objectives of these meetings will be to:
Identify common challenges across the instrumentation sector
Showcase ongoing and completed projects
Provide a cost-effective exhibition space for instrumentation companies and academics with novel technologies
Provide a forum for open debate and networking
