The latest example of SSI Schaefer’s dynamic solutions to material handling comes in the form of a new generation of adaptable, high performance and ergonomic conveying systems, which allow for the reliable high-speed transportation of different goods to their destination.
A variety of cartons or totes sizes can be transported throughout the system from the smallest and lightest loads, up to a weight of 50 kg. A high throughput, flexibility of application, modular structure, low noise performance, fast installation and ease of maintenance are just some of the advantages of using the new conveying systems.
The third generation of SSI Schaefer conveyor technology, incorporates the latest developments and components, including in-built powered and shaftless roller technology, integral and reconfigurable controls technology and a clean line profile designed to house all electrical and pneumatic services
The system has already been successfully implemented within many of today’s fast moving and dynamic applications demonstrating throughputs of up to 6000 units per hour. Applications from retail to mail-order picking, returns systems to pharmaceutical and wholesale to engineering markets have been successfully implemented with the new Schaefer conveyor system.
