DSV Everyday has successful take off

DSV Air & Sea Limited has expanded its recently launched daily air freight product on the back of popular demand.
The service, called DSV Everyday, offers three service levels - Priority, Classic and Economy - giving customers the flexibility to choose the most suitable option for them. Initially, the product offered daily flights from Hong Kong and South China to the UK, but it is now being expanded to include Shanghai and Beijing to the UK. The expansion comes on the back of a 30% increase in volumes compared with the same period last year.
Richard Lawford, Director, Sales, DSV Air & Sea Limited, says: "The volume increases we have experienced this year, despite the economic climate, are a testament to the popularity of DSV Everyday.
"By offering three service levels we're able to offer extra control to customers - if they need something urgently they can use our priority service, or if cost efficiencies are a concern, then our economy service could be more suitable.
"The service has been so successful that our customers have asked us to provide similar products from other origins, which is why we have looked at Shanghai and Beijing."
The Priority service offers a fixed transit time of two days from Beijing and Shanghai to the UK with Classic guaranteeing arrival in four days and Economy taking seven days.
