Selecta, one of Europe's foremost suppliers of vending solutions, has added to its fleet of Sprinter powered stairclimbers from Stanley Handling. Employed on some of Selecta's UK contracts, they are used predominantly for the replenishment of snack, beverage and confectionery vending machines.

Serving as both a stairclimber and a general handler, the Sprinter features a foldable ultra-lightweight aluminium frame weighing only 16kg yet offering a 140kg payload, enabling straightforward one-man operation. The units can move stacked cartons and cases over thresholds and up and down stairs right to the desired location. The battery powered two-speed stair climbing facility - 35 or 48 steps per minute - allows personnel to reduce the number of trips from vehicle to machine and to do so with less effort and in greater safety.

Pneumatic tyres permit use on all surfaces and a folding toe plate enables easy storage. A load strap with buckle is fitted while options include an extended toe plate and an on-board charger. Stanley Handling's excellent certificated training is provided.
